Nu Voice Club of Greater St. Louis

 We are a laryngectomy support group with a membership of about 300 nominal members. We hold quarterly meetings, usually drawing 20-30 members to our events.

 We are not medical professionals and make no such claims or give any medical advice. We do share our experiences and look to be a local resource for those who have had or may be facing the prospect of laryngectomy surgery. We also welcome spouses, caregivers, family members and friends as members.

 Our hope is to help our members live as safely as possible, as comfortably as possible, and to lead the most fulfilling life as possible. We look to be the living, breathing, and speaking proof that life as a laryngectomee can be as abundant and rewarding as anyone's. Indeed to have come through such a trial nearly always makes the person on the other end a truly grateful human being.
